Forest Bathing

We are meant to live in connection with nature.

More and more people are feeling the strains of living in urban environments and are finding themselves craving the healing that comes with time among trees, rivers, and beings that call the forest home.

While taking a walk in a park or going for a hike are beatiful ways to reconnect, Forest Bathing, or Forest Therapy, is an intentional, guided connection with nature in a mindful, heart-centered way.

It is a time to slow down, drop into the heart, and remember your connection with yourself, others, and the natural world.

“Everything in nature invites us constantly to be what we are." Gretel Ehrlich

Part of the disconnection and dissatisfaction many of us feel is rooted in our disconnection from the natural world. Forest Therapy, also known as Forest Bathing, is a mindful heart-centered practice of connecting with the natural world.

Forest Therapy events are 3 hours, with a gentle walks among trees in which you are invited to become present and connect with the landscape and its beings through your senses, your heart, and your soul. As we connect with nature, we inevitably connect to ourselves.

Public walks will be shared again in the coming months as I settle into Hudson Valley. To schedule a personal or small group walk, contact me.
